Seattle Children’s hospital recently revealed that one patient has died and five others have been infected by a potentially dangerous mold. The situation forced the medical center to immediately close all of its main operating rooms. The hospital closed its fourteen main operating rooms after traces of Aspergillus mold was discovered on May 18 in several operating rooms (and had been there on and off for about a year) and equipment storage rooms. Police in Tennessee are warning residents not to flush their drugs down the toilet. The warning was issued by the Loretto Police Department, which is about 95 miles south of Nashville, after investigators said they recently caught someone “attempting to flush methamphetamine along with several items of paraphernalia” down the toilet.
