A successful cancer research scientist and mother-of-two was murdered and her body dumped in a creek while on her daily run in Texas this past weekend. Sarmistha Sen, 43, of Plano, was found dead near a creek at Legacy Drive and Marchman Way Saturday morning less than two hours after she went out on her regular run along the Chisholm Trail. USA Today: FDA’s List of Hand Sanitizers to Avoid Grows Again with More Than 100 Identified that May Contain Methanol

The FDA’s “do-not-use list of dangerous hand sanitizer products” continues to grow and now includes 101 varieties of hand sanitizer that should be avoided. The list includes some that have already been recalled and other products being recommended for recalls – as they may contain the potentially fatal ingredient methanol. Methanol is used industrially as a solvent, pesticide, and alternative fuel source, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. State officials in Georgia are warning residents to be on the lookout for packages containing mysterious seeds sent in the mail. The Georgia Department of Agriculture said it has received several reports of people receiving these packages in recent weeks. Georgians are urged not to open the package or plant them. Arizona Child Welfare Workers Fired for Wearing ‘Professional Kidnapper’ Shirts

Multiple employees with the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) were terminated last month after posing for a photo wearing shirts that said “Professional Kidnapper” on the front. The shirts were apparently worn during work hours and also said “Do you know where your children are?” on the back, according to photos obtained by the Arizona Republic.
