Missouri farmer pleads guilty to $140 million organic grain fraud scheme

Randy Constant, who owns farms near Chillicothe, Missouri, recently plead guilty to federal fraud charges for up-charging customers- by more than $140 million– for conventionally produced grain that was sold as certified organic. “…owned and operated a business called Organic Land Management, as well as a grain marketing firm in Iowa called Jericho Solutions. Metro UK: Toddler is ‘castrated’ in botched operation

A two-year-old boy taken to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children for treatment of an undescended testicle has had his life irrevocably changed; when surgeons operated on the wrong testicle, they essentially “castrated” him (by leaving him infertile). He said the cow kicked open the door of the trailer she was in and jumped onto the highway from the upper level.”2 No one was hurt or killed (including the cow!) and the cow was safely removed from the roadway and sent to the vet by Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Wantage. Again, happy that no one got hurt and equally overjoyed that she will be able to safely live out the rest of her days at the sanctuary! SOURCE:...
