It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic death of a beloved holistic doctor right here in Florida. Dr. Christopher Brugger, 52, of Bradenton Florida (near Tampa) died when the gyrocopter he was in crashed. It is still unknown what happened as the pilot and instructor, 45-year-old Chris Lord, had thousands of hours of experience. 1 He also reportedly had licenses to fly over 30 of types of these gyroplanes, as well as his instructor’s license. A Freedom of Information Act from the beginning of 2018 recently revealed that the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality knew six years ago about the harmful effects of PFAS chemicals (formerly called PFCs) sometimes found in drinking water. A study published this week in JAMA Pediatrics found that phthalates, “chemicals commonly found in personal care products, food processing, and packaging, and household items,”5 might be linked to delayed language development in children. The research, done in the US and Sweden, compared the levels of phthalates in pregnant women in relation to language development in their children.
