CNN: Remains of boy found during search of New Mexico compound

Last week, the world was made aware of a rural New Mexico compound where 11 emaciated children were discovered and now, it seems authorities have discovered the remains of a young boy as well. It is still unclear if the remains uncovered this week are those of missing Georgia boy, Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, whose father was suspected of abducting him late last year from Clayton County, Georgia. However, according to Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe, an autopsy is pending. The boy’s father, Siraj Wahhaj -a prominent and controversial New York imam- was arrested Friday with his sisters Hujrah Wahhaj and Subhannah Wahhaj...

The corrupt EPA is now allowing asbestos back into manufacturing

Believe it or not, under a series of loopholes (of course), the ridiculous EPA is now allowing asbestos to be used in U.S. manufacturing again. (Actually, they never fully banned its use. More on that below.) On June 1, the EPA authorized a “SNUR” (Significant New Use Rule) which allows for the creation of new products containing asbestos, on a case-by-case basis. Roundworms revived after being frozen 42,000 years, start moving around and eating

A group of Russian scientists claim to have revived a pair of frozen roundworms (or nematodes) that were between 30,000 and 42,000 years old. The samples had been stored in a lab at around -4 degrees Fahrenheit when after being brought up to 68 degrees and surrounded by food, “After several weeks of cultivation, the nematodes began showing signs of life and reportedly began moving and eating.”1 Their study was published in Doklady Biological Sciences. “One of the specimens was found in a soil sample collected from a ground squirrel burrow located around 100 feet underground, and other burrows nearby have been radiocarbon dated to be around...
