Fox: Almond milk found containing real milk recalled in 28 states

The FDA issued a recall yesterday for certain half-gallon cartons of Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk because it was found to contain real milk. The issue involved 145,254 half-gallon cartons across 28 states. “The FDA estimates 145,254 cartons were shipped to retailers and wholesalers in Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Temporary switch to chlorine may change taste of Tampa water

If you live in the city of Tampa you might notice a slight difference in the taste and odor of your drinking water; beginning August 6th the Tampa Water Department will begin its conversion of water disinfection from chloramine to chlorine. The conversion is temporary and will end on August 27th. National surveillance for Lyme disease began in 1982 and since then the number of reported cases has grown over 25-fold. Between 1990 and 2015, the number of reported cases in the U.S. doubled. The disease has also spread geographically.
