Watch out for baby rabbits when mowing your lawn

It’s almost spring and that means, babies! And in this case, baby rabbits. Did you know that a rabbits’ nest can be easily missable when mowing your lawn? Apparently, they look just like a dead patch of grass, something not at all out of place in the next month or so. (Although baby rabbits are born in the summer, too.) The process is as follows:2 The helicopter first circles the area to look for people on...

(If you need me, I’ll be in the sauna for awhile!) Saunas and sweat lodges, although largely attributed to Finland, have existed in many cultures throughout ancient history and are still popular today in most of the Western World; if you’ve ever stepped into a sauna and relaxed for a while, you understand why. Forbes: Forget carrots, eat dark chocolate instead

Who doesn’t love chocolate? (Apparently, my editor’s son hated it for most of his life!) Especially dark chocolate; it’s sweet but not too sweet…just enough in those moments when we really need “just a little something.” Well, if you are a lover of chocolate you’ll be happy to know that a study, published in JAMA Ophthalmology found that consuming it may boost the sharpness and clarity of your vision! RELATED STORY: Eating Your Way to Better Eyesight as You Age The study’s lead author, Dr. Jeff Rabin of the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, used...
