Health advocate and activist Dick Gregory has died, Rest in Peace

I had the honor to meet Dick Gregory at the Health Freedom Expo in Chicago back in 2011. I watched him with intense interest as he got onto the stage and spoke the truth to the people, and have been listening ever since. Dick was 84 years old with a fruitful career spanning many decades. We are so sorry to see he has passed. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. I HIGHLY recommend watching the videos below where he speaks about Prince’s death, and Prince speaks about the genius of Dick Gregory. Intriguing, to say the...

NASA is launching massive balloons that contain bacteria during the eclipse

Editor’s note: Yes this really just happened. We wanted to share even regardless, so you know what’s being done on your dime. And yes, at the very bottom, I did go by NASA in Cae Canaveral to make a video outside the premises and was looking for a restroom around the area. Slate: Taking your full course of antibiotics isn’t helping prevent the spread of resistance; it’s fueling it.

Recently the British Medical Journal published an article in which the authors challenged the long-held belief that you should take the ENTIRE course of doctor prescribed antibiotics, even after you are feeling better. However, that claim has physicians and public health officials expressing serious concern about “an overly complex message that could result in encouraging patients to go rogue and ignore their doctors’ prescriptions.” 3 (Heaven forbid we listen to our bodies or stop taking something if we don’t need it. We are LOOOOOONNNNNGGG past protecting against antibiotic resistance!) RELATED ARTICLE: Study: Manuka honey kills more bacteria than all available antibiotics...

In L.A., you can now use city land for a free vegetable garden

When Ron Finley received an arrest warrant for planting vegetables in front of his house, he decided to take a stand. A member of his gardening group, Green Grounds, started a petition and gathered the community to take action. The Los Angeles Times picked up the story and then he started to get global attention. RELATED ARTICLE: Malabar Spinach — an easy growing summer green that loves heat The city council also took notice and the warrant was revoked. Now, the policy has been changed and under a new law, the city will allow free gardens next to sidewalks. “It’s...
