There are currently 107 fires burning in the state of Florida, roughly 23,800 acres, and enough for Rick Scott to call a “State of Emergency.” Scott has claimed he hopes the distinction will “make it easier for state, regional and local agencies to quickly work together to protect our families, visitor, and communities.” However, while putting the fires out is paramount, stopping the GAS PIPELINE ON DRIED WETLAND, that has seen over 68,000 acres of land burned from wildfires since February, is probably even more pressing.
