Research recently published in the journal Environmental Health found that hundreds of pilots currently flying commercial planes may be clinically depressed. Even worse still, researchers found that many of them may not seek treatment due to fears of negative career consequences (like being grounded). Researchers at The Ohio State University have developed a mesh that is capable of letting water pass through it while blocking and collecting the oil that comes into contact with it. The material is actually a piece of stainless steel that is coated with the super-thin oil repellant. “If you scale this up, you could potentially catch an oil spill with a net,” said Bharat Bhushan, Ohio Eminent Scholar and Howard D. Trevor Tice, founder and former CEO of CorePower Yoga, was found dead in his Southern California mansion, on Monday. While police did not elaborate, they said there were “suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death. An autopsy will determine the cause of death. It is believed that Tice, 48, was living in the home alone and that someone who knew him called to check in on him.
