Rescue Goat With Anxiety Only Calms Down In Her Duck Costume

Posted by | Nov 27, 2016 | , ,

It all started when Leanne Lauricella went shopping at Marshalls before Halloween. She was browsing the aisles when something caught her eye — a child’s duck costume, complete with a big orange bill and two webbed feet. Lauricella runs a goat rescue group called Goats of Anarchyj in New Jersey. She thought the duck costume would look cute on her baby goats, especially the newest rescue goat named Polly. So she bought the costume and took it home, not thinking too much of it. Little did Lauricella know just how much Polly would love that duck costume. Goats of...

The Army Corps of Engineers recently sent a letter sent to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s leader stating that the water protectors shut down one of their camps, by December 5th. Due to the increased violence between protectors and law enforcement (which is not the water protectors fault) and the increasingly harsh winter conditions, the Corps has decided to close its land to those who have been there since early April. It works by blocking sperm and is expected...

Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defense Minister: “Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help.  But instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.” It’s interesting how sometimes statements made by people with a safe reputation are...

Sweden is Recycling so Much Trash, it’s Running Out

Posted by | Nov 25, 2016 | ,

Sweden has transformed its waste-infrastructure program to accommodate the burning of trash.  They have taken a process that used to be heavily pollutant and modernized it to create incredible amounts of energy with a low waste output.  They’ve even figured out how to turn a lot of that polluting gas into biofuel. Currently, the Swedish population recycles 1.5 billion bottles and cans annually, which is an amazing amount, relative to the population of about 9.6 million (in 2013). There are 32 of these amazing reconversion plants, dedicated to turning trash into energy, throughout the country and they are actually...
