(Editor’s Note: This story is from the beginning of the year, wish I would have known to share then, but better late than never.)
In December of 2015, while the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick, Canada-Dr. Elish Cleary- was studying glyphosate, she was FORCED to go on leave. She claimed it was NOT voluntary. She said, “I was surprised and upset when it happened. The whole situation has caused me significant stress and anxiety. And not being able to talk about it makes it worse.” This very much makes the case for supposed “conspiracy theorists”. This situation has once again sparked concerns of possible political and corporate pressures at play to keep glyphosate on the market.
This very much makes the case for supposed “conspiracy theorists”.
Great interview you might enjoy on the President’s award Dr Cleary won on Public Health, holistic health, and she goes into going against the grain…..
If there aren’t political and or corporate pressures, keeping studies like this from being done, what else could the reason be? If a Chief Medical Officer can’t be trusted to be smart enough to make decisions about what she studies, as she attempts to care for those in her community, then who can be trusted? Why hire her if you can’t trust her decisions? Someone seems to really want glyphosate ON THE MARKET. No matter what.
From the article:
“Just last year, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) , a branch of the World Health Organization, identified this herbicide as “probably carcinogenic.” based on epidemiological studies, animal studies, and in vitro studies.
Again, there is a reason so many people continue to question the motives behind keeping this (dangerous) herbicide in use. Especially if it is “probably carcinogenic”, and it is dangerous- read about what it does to you here.
More from the article:
“In addition, the fact that Monsanto patented glyphosate as an antibiotic in 2010 should give us sufficient cause for concern. Scientists have warned us time and time again of the dangers of the overuse of antibiotics – how this practice leads to the creation of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms and has an extremely detrimental effect on our vital gut flora.”
Something is a foot. And we can no longer ignore what this herbicide is doing to us or our environment.
Update: Cleary says it was devastating for her family and talks about the incident here. NO reason was EVER given for them forcing her out.
