Avocados Can Balance Hormones, Boost Metabolism, and Fight Disease
Avocados contain plant sterols, such as beta-sitosterol, that have antiestrogenic properties. They are able to block the estrogen receptors in our cells and reduce estrogen absorption rates. Thus. increasing progesterone levels in women and testosterone levels in men.
Most people don’t know that avocados have powerful anti-aging properties contained in both the flesh and the oil. Scientists have recently discovered that avocados possess potent anti-aging properties which protect against free radicals. - 3 large avocado, soft and ripe
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 3-6 tablespoons coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- Combine avocado, cacao powder, coconut milk, vanilla, coconut oil and honey in blender. Blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes
- Serves 2.
