We knew we should celebrate the news that the pipeline was on hold to search for another route, but at the same time, many of us assumed we shouldn’t pack up just yet. Turns out the later was true.
Energy partners and Sunoco responded to the statement from the department of the army about them not granting their easement with an “I don’t care,” of sorts.
While the army corp of engenierrs is looking for other routes, the pipeline partners fully expect to complete construction WITHOUT any additional rerouting in and around Lake Oahe.
