Tansy Aspinall, a nonprofit, was launched over 20 years ago among the gorillas at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent, England. The goal was to rehabilitate gorillas who had been in captivity so they could eventually be released back into their native habitat in West Africa.
And one little girl helped out every day because she was “raised” with the gorillas.
But what would happen when, 12 years after their release into the wild, they met again?
In 2014, Tansy and her father Damian traveled to Gabon where they had released Djalta and Bimms to see if they could catch a glimpse of the gorillas. Watch what happens below.
Happy Monday to you all.
XO- Erin
