Did you guys see this rolling around social media last week?
While we aren’t sure exactly when this happened, we do know that relatively recently a goose found an abandoned puppy on the street- believed to be abandoned by its mother shortly after birth- shivering in the cold.
And for some reason, the goose just knew what it had to do, use its wings to protect the puppy from the cold and keep it warm.
Apparently, the user that originally posted the image thought the goose was going to attack the puppy but instead, the goose “used its beak to pet the puppy and kept it warm underneath its wings for quite a while” 1 as the puppy fell asleep in its embrace!

UPTADE: This is amazing news: shortly after the photos were uploaded to Facebook, the puppy and the goose were adopted together and are now inseparable.
