A man in India has died after a fight with his rooster while the two were on their way to a cockfight.
The bizarre incident occurred on January 15 in the village of Pragadavaram in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh state.
Saripalli Chanavenkateshwaram Rao, 50, had tied blades to the rooster’s claws before the fight. The bird tried to break free on the way to the event, and his claw hit Rao in the neck.
