Infowars host, Alex Jones is set to be interviewed by Megyn Kelly and there are a lot of unhappy people. Not only are people mad that Alex Jones still has a platform, but Kelly is being strongly criticized for the interview itself. What has happened to this country? We used to be able to disagree with people, even really dislike people, and still be able to move on with our lives! Currently, Kelly’s interview with Jones is set to air on NBC’s “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” on June 18th.
Jones is known for discussing controversial topics- the idea that the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks were an inside job (he’s not alone in that theory- many people agree with him) and that the mass killing at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 was an elaborate fake, to name a few. He’s also seen as a mere peddler of “fake news.” (I suppose that’s what many think of us too, but we don’t care.)

Some of the parents from Sandy Hook have tweeted photos of their dead children and addressed them to Kelly. But the daughter of the principal who died at Sandy Hook addressed both Kelly and Jones in her Tweet, “This piece of actual garbage encourages people to call my mom’s death a hoax and harass other Sandy Hook families. Shame on you @megynkelly.”
In response to all the criticism, Kelly Tweeted,
But some believe that Kelly is only doing the interview to try and slam Jones, including Jones himself and some from his camp who claim that “Kelly’s interview represents a conspiracy to do a ‘hatchet job’ on Jones.” Jones himself is now demanding that NBC not air the interview. 2
