My Holistic Lyme Doctor is in People Magazine

What are the chances that TV celebrity Yolanda Foster and I would have not one holistic doctor in common, but two?
I read not too long ago that she went to get her implants removed, I’d gone to Susan Kolb, MD, back in 2012 and had mine removed as well (video below). So when I saw Yolanda post (to her Instagram account) a photo of my doctor and friend’s book (Susan Kolb), I was elated. I just saw Dr. Kolb last week and she’s amazing!
Now I see Yolanda Foster is going to my holistic Lyme MD, (I’ve seen him since 2009) Dietrich Klinghardt. It sure is a small world. 🙂
I thank both of those doctors in the video I made here about my own journey:
So when the mainstream media announced today that Ticks carrying Lyme are in half of all US Counties (and probably more) I think it’s time we put more emphasis on Lyme. It has to be done.
That’s why I was so thrilled to see my holistic Lyme doctor (Dietrich Klinghardt, MD) in People Magazine with the Real Housewives star. Even if you don’t like the show, you have to admit, Foster has been very vocal in helping raise awareness about this misunderstood and prevalent disease.
From People Magazine:
“Thank you Dr. Klinghardt for being my guiding light in uncovering the mystery of chronic disease,” Foster wrote on Instagram early Wednesday. “I am forever grateful for your kindness, knowledge and guidance in this crazy journey.”In the accompanying photo, theReal Housewives of Beverly Hills star posed happily with Dietrich Klinghardt, the doctor who founded the Sophia Health Institute where Foster receives treatment.
The Sophia Health Institute treats chronic illness with a range of therapies, as well as supplements, medications, nutrition and lifestyle changes, according to the group’s website.
I made a video personally thanking Dietrich Klinghardt and The Sophia Institute as they were instrumental in helping me in my Lyme journey (I tested positive for Lyme in 2013 – just over 2 years ago). See it here.
Our heart goes out to all those who have been diagnosed with Lyme (or those yet to figure out a diagnosis). It’s not an easy journey and definitely never boring but remember, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. <3
