[…]overdose death” ever and has had tongues wagging. However, that’s not exactly what the doctors meant. (Isn’t the news cycle interesting? This report is from the August edition of the journal Clinical Practice and Cases in Emergency Medicine- not only is this not new news, this journal isn’t a scientific study or research report.) “We are absolutely not saying that marijuana killed that child,” said Thomas Nappe, an author of the report who is now the director of medical toxicology at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pa. And drug policy and health experts also warned about reading too much into this report. […]
[…]gain over your well-being at every turn. So when we apply that logic to the case at hand, wherein doctors are finding, or rather re-discovering alternative ways to heal and outright prevent a multitude of illnesses that plague mankind, illnesses that have been used to create entire multi-billion dollar industries of continuous treatment as opposed to actual healing, we need to ask ourselves: who stands to lose with this monumental rise in awareness of just how effective holistic medicine can be?” <<<<<<For the most up to date list on the holistic doctors we’ve lost, most under very strange circumstances, click […]

[…]larvicide as potential cause of microcephaly in Brazil GM WATCH: A report from the Argentine doctors’ organization, Physicians in the Crop-Sprayed Towns, challenges the theory that the Zika virus epidemic in Brazil is the cause of the increase in the birth defect microcephaly among newborns. The increase in this birth defect, in which the baby is born with an abnormally small head and often has brain damage, was quickly linked to the Zika virus by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. However, according to the Physicians in the Crop-Sprayed Towns, the Ministry failed to recognise that in the area where most sick […]
[…]claims that Kapoor and other Insys executives offered bribes in the form of kickbacks to doctors who wrote massive amounts of prescriptions for patients- many of whom did not have cancer. The DOJ also alleged that the executives defrauded insurers by forming a “reimbursement unit” dedicated to obtaining prior authorization from insurers who were reluctant to pay for the drug. Disgusting. Essentially, the Insys execs fueled the opioid epidemic by paying doctors to prescribe a drug they KNEW was both extremely dangerous and addictive. We will watch how this trial unfolds and keep you […]
The Justice Department just announced that federal prosecutors are charging 60 doctors, pharmacists, medical professionals and others in connection with alleged opioid pushing and health care fraud. In total,31 doctors, seven pharmacists, eight nurse practitioners, and seven other licensed medical professionals were charged. “The cases involve more than 350,000 prescriptions for controlled substances and more than 32 million pills — the equivalent of a dose of opioids for “every man, woman and child,” across Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and West Virginia.”1 These charges come less than four months after the Justice Department dispatched experienced fraud prosecutors across hard-hit regions in […]
[…]to my attention and I wanted to share it with you: It is totally legal, in certain states, for doctors and med students to practice pelvic exams on patients who are under anesthesia for unrelated surgeries. I have no idea who on earth thought this was ok, but like the “husband stitch,” if we don’t bring these issues to light and demand they stop, they will go on. “It is very common for teaching hospitals around the world to have med students ‘practice’ performing pelvic exams on a surgical patient while they are under anesthesia without their consent, or even […]

On Monday it was announced that a High Court judge from the UK ruled doctors could remove life support from severely disabled 11-month-old, Isaiah Haastrup, without his parent’s consent. Isaiah was born via emergency c-section on February 18, 2017, at King’s College Hospital after his mother, Takesha Thomas, experienced a rupture in her uterus. Baby Isaiah’s parents have continued to object to removing him from life support but doctors from King’s College Hospital in London argued that it wasn’t in Isaiah’s “interest to prolong his life.” Andrew Whitelaw, who provided evidence to the court, said that with no audible heartbeat, respiration, activity or […]
Antibiotics in animal feed can harm children Its been a long time coming, and holistic doctors and other health advocates have been saying the same thing for years, but the American Academy of Pediatrics has finally publicly stated that antibiotics in our livestock feed has become a serious problem and health risk: “The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) technical report says the practice of adding antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs to the feed of healthy livestock, commonly done to promote growth and prevent disease among animals in crowded conditions, […]
Last year, just as summer was hitting, a strange new trend had women going crazy and gynecologists really worried: using crushed wasp nests as a means of improving one’s sex life. The product, sold on Etsy, was reportedly crushed into a paste and applied topically. Beyond one’s sex life it was also advertised to help heal episiotomy wounds, rejuvenate the uterine wall, and clean out the vagina’ after childbirth (there were warnings that it can ‘burn’ when applied). Because these things tend to have a life of their own and often reappear on Facebook, we thought we’d remind you in case you […]

First of all, aluminum is a neurotoxic metal that has severe side-effects on the function of the brain and has even been associated with Alzheimer’s disease. According to medical experts, the exposure to this toxic metal might cause long- lasting adverse effects, including mental decline, and loss of balance, memory, coordination, and bodily control. This study has found […]
