Have you ever been to a famous “hot” raw food restaurant like in New York City or Los Angeles and wondered how they made those awesome coconut creams in the kitchen? Well today we have some of the secrets to share with you! (or pretty darn close anyway!) We love our Los Angeles celebrity chef Rochelle who really knocks our socks off with her divine rawmazing recipes. We’ve had some incredible celebrity chefs in the past at Raw Foods Retreat right in on the coast in Florida in Palm Coast but she might take the cake! (if we’re lucky she might make one too) Go go Rochelle. You’re rawsome.
Delicious Pink Coconut Creammmm
Coconut meat from 5 young coconuts / or you can buy coconut meat in the freezers at Wholefoods (i say Wholefoods because they are nation wide)
5 heaped tbsp coconut oil (double boil to bring to make liquid)
4 tbsp maple syrup / agave
1 or 2 drops stevia
1 flat tsp vanilla powder
1 cap almond essence
1/8th of a tsp purple corn extract
1/2 cup coconut water
Buzz ingredients in a high powered blender, then add coconut oil last and keep buzzing.
What you are looking for is the ingredients to be turning over while blending. Then you know it’s the right consistency .. If it’s not, then add a touch more coconut water.
Place in serving dishes
Double boil Lover Raw Chocolate and drizzle on top… Place in fridge to chill.
Can be popped into a large glass dish and placed in freezer for a delicious icedream !
