On October 17th, RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA will be legal in Canada, making it only the second country in the world to legalize the drug. I imagine Canadians are quite pleased with their Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

“We work in partnership with the provinces, and since we’ve passed these measures in Parliament we’ve been listening to the provinces who have been asking for more time to implement it. That’s why we’re accepting the request of the provinces, and that’s why we’ll be legalizing it as of Oct. 17, 2018.”1
Although the bill was passed people who use the drug for non-medical purposes before Oct. 17th will face criminal charges and penalties. However, once legal, adults 18 and older will be able to legally purchase, grow and use limited amount of the super plant.
