Flea gave bass lessons to an unlikely fellow music lover this week as the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist hung out with the famed Koko the Gorilla in California.
Flea is one of her favorite musicians (Koko and I are both 45) and it appears they both enjoyed their time together.
Flea also shared more photos of the Koko encounter on his Instagram and encouraged fans to purchase a Koko shirt to help raise money for the Gorilla Foundation.
