Over the last couple of years, we’ve tried to bring attention to the plight of bees. Sadly, even though many of us in the natural/green world have continued to discuss the issues surrounding bees, little has been done to help them. It seems that people still don’t know how important they are.
RELATED STORY:
“…one-third of all food humans consume is pollinated by them and would disappear with them if they were wiped out. Millions could starve. The woes bees face are truly horrifying and there is strong evidence linking the die-off to our agricultural practices – namely the use of neonicotinoid insecticides. We need to help our small buzzing friends or we will face extremely unpleasant consequences.”1
Since we know this is first and foremost a money issue, that pesticide manufacturers will do everything they can to keep their poisons legal, we must continue to educate ourselves and the masses and let our voices be heard.
