Florida Highway patrol shared this image of tractor-trailers lined up under the bridge.

When a distressed man recently threatened to jump off a Florida Turnpike overpass, a group of truckers in Orlando mobilized to assist police and prevent a loss of life.

After the distressed man climbed over the fencing surrounding the overpass, officers shut down that part of the highway then asked truckers that were passing through the area for help. (They’ve done the same thing in Michigan as well, check out the video below.)
“Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Kim Montes told CNN affiliate WKMG that the tractor-trailers lined up underneath the overpass to catch the man if he fell. About an hour later, police got the man off the bridge and back to safety.”1
Orlando police were so thankful for the help they Tweeted their thank you:
