A couple of years ago, Veterinarian Katherine Kramer had run out of treatment options for an 18-year-old cat who was in pain from heart disease and pancreatitis. Since then, CBD has become a regular recommendation.
And now she can’t imagine practicing without it.

Because the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia doesn’t allow vets to legally prescribe CBD, Kramer merely makes the suggestion. But she’s quick to point out that while CBD can be helpful for some pets, feeding a cat or dog regular marijuana is very dangerous and can kill them.
