Yesterday, Whole Foods Market posted a recall on RXBar’s due to the potential of peanuts in their bars. After you watch the video, make sure to check out the full list of recalled products below.
This week, the recall by Chicago Bar Company LLC (RXBAR) expanded to 12 varieties and three kids’ varieties (there was a previous recall in December):
“We are expanding the recall out of an abundance of caution, after recently receiving consumer contacts regarding allergic reactions to additional varieties,” said the company. “Our investigation concluded that the issue stems from a specific ingredient supplied by a third party. We immediately changed suppliers for this ingredient when the issue arose.”1
