We are sorry to announce that Carrie Fisher has died at age 60. and now her mother Debbie Reynolds, 84 has died the very next day! So tragic!
Family spokesman Simon Halls announced on Tuesday:
“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”
Paramedics were on standby and waiting at the gate when Fisher’s plane arrived. The L.A. City Fire Department provided advanced life support and aggressive treatment before transporting the actress to the UCLA Medical Center.
We will miss her. Far too many have left us this year.
