13 y/o entering hospice has a wish
I’m thankful I caught a post on my Facebook Page today from a woman asking me to share the hashtag #DelaneyMeetTaylor, about a 13 year old girl who has stage IV terminal cancer, and one wish: to meet country/pop star Taylor Swift.
I was in Nashville this week for “The Truth About Cancer” Charity Gala, Dr. Burzynski was also in attendance, so I sent links to his site; Burzynski has been in the news too for his controversial, but often effective, methods at treating his cancer patients- especially children- many of whom are alive and cancer free today.
But then they explained how severe she was and I saw the clip about Delaney and how she’s about to enter hospice.
It absolutely broke my heart.
I don’t ever like to give up hope, but I do believe Delaney’s wish to meet one person, her hero Taylor Swift, should be granted if at all possible.
Here is a Facebook page dedicated to try and help make her wish come true.
I never know who might read my articles, so if you could share with friends or family- we all know that there is six degrees of separation and perhaps someone can reach Taylor and make Delaney’s dream a reality.
Thank you,
Erin Elizabeth
