Still no arrest made in the second dog mouth taping incident in Daytona Florida
UPDATE! :We did call the local Daytona policd dept today at 386-671-5447 today and ask why no arrest has been made. They explained they allegedly cannot locate this man or the dog! please, if you know his address or whereabouts please call them today Here’s his open active Facebook Profile
His family allegedly owns this restaurant and says they aren’t going to fire him despite what has occurred and that police are looking for him. Their # is
In Daytona Beach, Florida the police issued a short statement on Tuesday in reference to multiple complaints concerning a photo posted on Facebook showing a dog lying on the floor with his muzzle taped shut. The news release stated:
“In regards to the face book post (dog’s mouth taped shut) Animal Control
officers are aware of the post and currently are attempting to identify the
person responsible for the act and determine if any charges are to be filed.
No further information is available. No police report has been initiated.”
The photo of the dog lying on the floor with his mouth taped up was disturbing enough to readers, but the commentary below the picture increased the audience’s ire as the poster, Bryan Futur Gomez stated it was done for emergency purposes, but unless the punishment is rendered immediately the dog would have no idea what he had done wrong. Gomez then listed reasons the dog’s mouth was taped shut giving the reader “choices”:
A. Because he was chewing on all the stuff and trash on the floor that’s on that orange box.
B. Because he was play biting and hurting a small fragile female chihuahua dog.
C.Because he was crying super loud when he was being dealt with and handled with. Causing to wake up my roommates.
D. Or all of the above.
We did call the local Daytona policd dept today at 386-671-5447 today and ask why no arrest has been made after days and this is the second time a local has taped their dog’s mouth shut. They don’t know his location they said! please if you know where he is call them! here’s his profile still active.
