In yet another blow to Bayer’s Monsanto, the Key West City Commission has banned the use of a popular weed killer on city-owned property. While the new law prohibits glyphosate’s use by city workers, it does not ban its use on private property. The commission voted 6-0 in favor of the ban. Officer Jesse Lopez was one of the first officers to arrive on the scene after the shooting.
