The Herbicide that’s Causing Autism in Half of All Children

It seems that another month can’t go by without discovering yet another study that once again proves that Monsanto still is the most evil corporation on the planet (keep trying BP). Regardless, Monsanto is at it again. It seems it can’t be content with poisoning entire farming communities in Argentina, developing herbicide that are decimating the worldwide bee population, putting small farmers out of business with their cutthroat business models, or forcing GMOs down our throats to maximize their profits. No, it seems the one thing Monsanto has to excel at is creating human misery wherever it can. Maybe it’s...

Breaking: FDA Bans 19 (Nineteen!) Dangerous Chemicals in Antibacterial Soaps

As of today, antibacterial soaps have a short shelf life, and that’s a great thing as that might sa  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned soap products containing 19 active ingredients, including the notoriously dangerous chemical triclosan, marketed as “antiseptics”. Off the record I was told the FDA stated that they cannot believe it ever was legal and some even say it was an under the table paid off deal- where the FDA made cash and lots of dangerous soap was made, while some made a cool million or billion in sales harming the public. Hermine Ricketts and Tom Carroll had gardened in their front yard for 17 years (their back yard doesn’t receive enough sunlight) but then their community in Miami Shores decided to make front yard gardens off-limits. And just recently, after a three-year court battle over the vegetable garden in their front yard, a judge has ruled that the ordinance banning front yard gardens is constitutionally sound. Their final option is to petition the Village Council to change the ordinance. Hermine Ricketts told the Miami Herald, “I am disappointed by today’s ruling. My garden not only provided us with food, but...

Nestle Pays Only $524 to Extract 27,000,000 Gallons of California Drinking Water

Have we reported ANYTHING good about Nestle? Ever? Well, we aren’t starting now. California has been experiencing a drought and even with all their rain this year they are still in a drought. In fact, even if it rained for a month straight, they would still be in a drought. Given that truth, you would think that Nestle would know better than to be bottling water from natural springs in the San Bernardino National Forest (oh, and they also collected 51 million gallons of groundwater from the same area). But, I suppose the higher ups would have to have a...

Mizzou researchers sued for blinding, killing beagles in failed experiment

(Editor’s note: So happy to see my friend’s rescue group making the national news! Read on.) Los Angeles-based Beagle Freedom Project, a non-profit that finds homes for sweet animals who miraculously survive medical research, are suing researchers at the University of Missouri, Columbia, alleging they purposely blinded six beagles and then killed them after the project failed. Kevin Chase, Beagle Freedom Project’s vice president, says his group looked through the universities published animal research and found a very “disturbing” study published in 2016’s Journal of Veterinary Ophthalmology. It appeared that university researchers killed six beagles- after PURPOSEFULLY damaging their corneas by...
