A key witness in Amber Guyger’s murder trial was shot and killed Friday evening at an apartment complex near Dallas’ Medical District, authorities said. Joshua Brown was a neighbor of Botham Jean’s and Guyger at the South Side Flats apartments. He was killed about 10:30 p.m. on Friday evening. Brown, 28, lived across the hall from Jean and testified about the night he was killed. Walmart, the United States’ largest retailer, was the latest to announce the suspension of the sale of Zantac and other over-the-counter ranitidine medications due to concerns they might contain a substance that can cause cancer. Customers can return the products to Walmart or Sam’s Club stores for a refund. CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens also recently announced they are no longer selling the medications. A mother of a Digital Harbor High School student in Baltimore, Md. found out her 16-year-old daughter received a birth control implant at school after the teen started complaining about headaches and arm pain. Nicole Lambert took her to the pediatrician, who discovered that a Nexplanon birth control device was the culprit.
