NBC: This police robot could make traffic stops safer

Every year, police officers make more than 50,000 traffic stops with motorists. And they can often times be sources extreme stress. Not to mention, potentially dangerous for the officer. With that in mind, Reuben Brewer, a mechanical engineer at the nonprofit research organization SRI International in Menlo Park, California, has created a robot to help. Sweet little Chadrack Mbala Mulo, a mute and autistic four-year-old boy, was found clinging to his mother’s decomposed body in East London.
