(Editor’s Note: As you will all remember, pipelines are safe and never explode, break, leak. Just keep that in mind.) Just last night ANOTHER pipeline, this time off the Phillips 66 pipeline in Paradis, Louisiana, sparked a fire after an explosion. One worker is missing and others have been injured. While it wasn’t immediately understood what caused the fire, a crew of six workers had been cleaning it. An international team of researchers recently confirmed that children who drink fresh milk – unprocessed and unpasteurized – have a better immune response to allergens and are far less likely to develop asthma. On Tuesday, Seattle’s city council voted unanimously in favor of cutting banking ties with Wells Fargo and avoiding any new investments in the company’s stocks and bonds. Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, said the city “will not stand by as tribal citizens are treated as second-class communities.” Good job Seattle. Wells Fargo‘s CEO Tim Sloan defended the bank’s role saying, “We have an obligation. That credit facility was properly vetted and independently reviewed within Wells Fargo. Veterans Return to Standing Rock, ‘Not Backing Off’ Pipeline Protests

The Veterans Stand group who once traveled to help shield water protectors at the Dakota Access Pipeline are headed back and raising funds again. Thus far, their GoFundMe campaign has raised $186,767 of its $500,000 goal. The funds raised will go toward supplies for the North Dakota protest camp, transportation of veterans to and from Standing Rock Indian Reservation, and operations.
